Get closer to people who can teach you, customers you can serve and opportunities that fit your starting point. Then do the work that makes those connections count.
Who understands the work you want to do? Seek a relevant introduction, ask a specific question and learn from real experience.
Where can you safely learn, practise or meet a customer? Choose an accessible setting that fits your time and resources.
Bring a clear offer, evidence of effort and a useful question. Follow through, learn from the response and adjust your next move.
Access improves your chances; it does not guarantee a job, sale or funding. We check fit and real costs before recommending a move.
Choose the opportunity. Explore what pulls you, test demand, check costs and learn from results. Work independently or with optional help. Use these activities within the full eight-stage online programme, at a pace that fits your situation.
Start with one relevant person. Ask about a problem they face, what they do now and what they pay for. Choose an option you can realistically reach and serve.
State what you will provide, for whom, at what price and by when. Check every cost and resource needed before promising or spending.
If a customer agrees and you can fulfil it, deliver the agreed work. Record money received, costs and feedback. Interest alone is not a sale.
Ask what the customer would buy again. Improve the offer, try another suitable buyer or change direction using what you learned.
No income to invest? Begin only with resources you can actually access, or agree the skill or support needed first. Students fit the test around studies. No preset trade, loan or stock purchase is required.
